I operate the Production Studio Scenic Art Department solely. I am responsible for purchasing, budgeting, developing paint treatments and samples for all UCI Drama supported productions. In addition to completing all Scenic Art treatments on built scenery and soft goods. I also assist students with clarifying their designs and coming up with cost effective, visually impactful, creative solutions.

2014-2018

One of three staff members responsible for preparing and painting all scenery, roughly thirteen productions per season. Responsible for recreating the color, finish, texture, and composition of designer's renderings, while also considering other elements of production such as lighting. Frequently required to faux finish, apply 3D texture, mix color, create samples, and complete notes. Rapid, accurate, and quality work was required in a timely manner

Worked closely with Paint Charge, Designer, and Production Manager, to develop and complete the paint treatments for two outdoor productions (Richard III and Measure for Measure).

2014

Summer intern, responsible for painting, and preparing scenery per designers renderings. Worked back stage as deck crew, performing set changes, operating fly rail, and occasionally helping with costume changes while shows were in full repertory.
